I went to the local seouk and got ALL of this produce for about $7.00. Yeah, pretty awesome and so yummy. I have to wash it all very carefully (bleach is involved), but even for that 15 minutes of time, the price is worth it!

we had to do that on my mission. You have to let it air out after you wash it in bleach. Sure you knew that, but lots of people would get sick if they didn't.
I bet it tastes yummy.
Don't you love fresh veggies/fruit? Why do you have to wash thm in bleach? BTW I have been following your blog for a while on my google reader. It looks like your family is having an amazing time!
Okay, I just got on after probably two months off and caught up on your life. LOVE it all, and sure love all of you! Just got the virtual hug as well...thanks. I thought of you as we flew over just the western edge of Egypt...so close! I pictured us crashing with the Houses and thought that you and I would have easily pulled an all nighter catching up. Ahhhh. Well at least I feel almost caught up with you reading all these awesome posts. When are you headed to Idaho, and will you be up north? I almost made a trip out to the Spokane area, but my newest two's teeth were not so bad as to be able to justify the trip to my brother to do it all for free. Instead, I just have to pay the $700 here to a stranger. Have a great rest of your trip!!!! Abe and Tim are AMAZING, life is crazy, the house got even louder, lots of laughing. Love and prayers. c
That is AWESOME!! One of my favorite things about travelingo utside the US is the cheap price of produe and fruit! SO jealous!
Aimee, i just saw your link on Em's blog and couldn't resist! Every time I see carrot seeds I think of you -- do you want me to send some back with Shir? Really? Thanks again for all your helpful info and fun during my Egyptian adventure!! :)
